Published 2022-04-01

Nmap is a great tool that allows you to explore open TCP and UDP ports. This is a very powerful tool that was designed with security scanning in mind. You can run the commands below to download and install Nmap with Homebrew and attempt to locate devices on your local netowrk. You may need to replace 10.0.0.0 with 192.168.1.1 or something else entirely to match your local network.

brew install nmap
nmap -sn 10.0.0.0/24
